Biography
Born in 1958 in Rome (Italy), Walter Minus is a graduate of the École nationale supérieure des Métiers d'Art et des Arts Appliqués in Paris. He regularly illustrates articles for magazines such as Elle, Senso, Lire, Marie Claire, Cosmoplitan, Avantages, Maximal, and in the United States in The New Yorker and The New York Magazine.
Walter Minus is a lover of women, of THE Woman, of delicious and angelic dolls, of Pin-ups with red lips and generous and perfect curves.
A comic strip artist, he depicts them, from the front, from the side, in black lace, almost naked, without speech bubbles but captioned since they are already offered – although they seem difficult to satisfy. The line is precise, the black outline is subtle and economical, at the crossroads of Ligne Claire and Pop Art.
