Young French artist, Lakdar Hadad grew up and lives in the Paris region.
I explore, discover and create. My brushstrokes are instinctive and my experimentation improvised.
My painting tests and connects the senses. Self-taught, I work by trying several techniques, texture, looking for a style that evolves over time.
Inspiration comes to me from landscapes, architectural works, and all that is beautiful in the universe.
My work approach is abstract, I like juxtaposing colors and combining textures. Influenced by the flat colors of Gerhard Richter and the densities of shades of Zao Wou Ki, I like to find harmony in the spontaneity of my gesture of painting, that's what brings my love for art to life.
