Christophe Krugh

KRUGH is a French expressionist offering a unique and more than daring artistic approach in a universe combining strength and poetry.

Born from a work inspired by three artistic movements that he particularly appreciates (cubism, postmodernism, abstract art...) KRUGH offers a personal painting drawn from the influence of three major figures of the 20th century, Picasso, Miro and Basquiat for achieve a striking result. His style is between the figurative and the abstract.

In KRUGH's painting, we also find other influences of the 20th century such as Chagall, the Cobra movement...

The Mystique often invites herself into his work, he invites us to raise our eyes upwards, as his characters often do.

His canvases exert a powerful attraction on everyone and capture our eyes which cannot be detached by the strength of his colors which counterbalance with the softness of his themes.

It offers a wide field of interpretation in a poetic, symbolic or spiritual universe.

KRUGH thus expresses and interprets his time and his daily life through intimate feelings capable of communicating to the viewer emotions or messages that everyone can interpret through their own prism.
