Biography
Teasing the lines between figurative painting and abstraction, Valengin’s works are instantly distinctive. Her paintings exude mystery, revealing just enough, but never too much, stirring in the viewer a sense of being at once allured and unsettled. Valengin earned an M.F.A in Fine Art at The Royal College of Art in London in 2016. Her work has been exhibited in numerous group and solo shows in Paris, London, Brussels and New York. Margaux Valengin was born in 1992 in Péronne, France. She now lives and works in New York.
