Fabrizio Trotta

Fabrizio Trotta was born in 1973 in Paola in Calabria, where he lives and works after a long artistic and musical experience in Milan.

He approaches art by himself and in his Milan brackets degree in Sound Engineering in 1994 and graduated in Computer Science in 2001.

Since his youth stands its rich character of feelings, his passion for communication, for open and sincere dialogue that led him to show particular interest in art in its various modes of expression.

The natural attraction for life and its colors led him to explore the world of contemporary art. A search that explodes its creativity embracing different styles and techniques. In its path feels strong and unstoppable need to do to meet the spiritual and conceptual side with that of the rough tangible that lead to the realization, for its work, of material surfaces.

For years he fervently as a composer, arranger and music producer, with some of his productions published by record companies such as EMI and BMG. All this led him to deepen the knowledge of music, allowing him to interpret the sound vibrations that turns into visual vibration in his works.

In his search for the consecration of what is his other passion, music modulates rhythms with matter that you make sound and harmony in colors; then inserts, incastonandoli in a precise breakdown of the plans, instruments, sheet music and vinyl, all in the guise of finding and story, a tale of emotions driven by the desire overflowing externalize.

His fondness for the material and color, and its willingness to involve as many senses as possible, including the tactile and olfactory, pushing him to expand his research into minimalist works, gathered in the series "Chromotherapy" and Chromoaromatherapy ", painted in oils , pigments or spices, where the color, in its function cathartic and therapeutic, it becomes only protagonist, represented in the form of rain material through a new and original pictorial technique called "spectrogram", which reproduces on canvas a 3D sound spectrogram.

Obtained acclaim in Italy and abroad, with works in private and public collections in 2008 it gives rise to the "Playing Art". An art form dynamic, interactive and playful covertly, whose potential is closely linked to the user's possibility to intervene on the work through the free positioning of the sections of the objects applied with magnets on a pictorial / materico bottom that allows to generate each once a work different and unique.
