Biography
Najoua El Hitmi was born in 1978 in Tangiers in Morocco, where she still lives. She studied tourism and became a travel agent. Her career led her to travel across the globe, exploring all it had to offer in terms of nature and people. During these experiences, she educated herself to enhance her personal development, including learning about sophrology, so as to be able to begin the art of introspection through painting.
Her passion and spontaneity when creating her paintings can immediately be felt. Her artwork conveys her love for mankind and the beauty of the world. It lifts our spirits by awakening our inner self, deeply buried within us, allowing it to be expressed and to be changed from immanent to transcendent.
Her work, which stands out with its real diversity, oscillates between hallowed tradition and modernity. The depicted shapes, which show different shades of light, could be interpreted as a « global language ».
