Jan K

Jan K is a painter born in 1968. Originally from Bratislava, she has been living in Switzerland since her childhood.

After a quick career in high level sports, as the family tradition would want, Jan K eventually turned towards the artistic sector, especially painting.

The main approach of the artist is to let go and be spontaneous with her flexible and curvy strokes. The almost obsessional work of strokes and strength in her gestures give birth to uncontrolled, surprising and powerful work.

Since about ten years now, her paintings have been exhibited in Switzerland and Europe.
