Virginie Michel

Self-taught artist, Virginie Michel studied the living model at the large cottage in Paris, her favorite theme is the human figure, she uses mixed techniques based on collages.

“Painting came to me as a necessity, almost a therapy; The starting point is often an insignificant cut out image, in a magazine ... the memory of faces appears like genealogical research, basically to simply ask the following question: who am I, who are we?

Virginie exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants in 2008 in Lyon.

His last exhibition entitled “reunion” took place at the ORIGIN Gallery in September 2021.
