Biography
Born on February 10, 1982, in Rivne, Ukraine, Yulia Lazorenko is a painter whose passion for art began in her childhood. Although painting was always her favorite activity, she was directed towards studying economics after high school. After obtaining her master's degree, she embarked on a ten-year career in the telecommunications industry. However, a harrowing flight experience led her to reassess her priorities, prompting her to fully commit to her passion for painting and her family. In February 2022, due to the conflict in Ukraine, Yulia and her children relocated to Sofia, Bulgaria, where she currently resides and creates.
Yulia considers herself an experimenter, drawing inspiration from the complexity and beauty of human experiences. Her creative process involves seeking and transforming motifs, expressing emotions through textures and rhythms. Nature, in all its splendor, also serves as a major source of inspiration for her. Working with abstraction provides her with a sense of freedom and happiness, with each canvas being an adventure whose outcome is unknown at the start. She aims for her works to evoke objects, feelings, and memories in the viewer, inviting them to immerse themselves in her imaginary world.
Her works have been exhibited at GALERIA AZUR in Berlin, reflecting her recognition on the international art scene. Today, Yulia continues to explore new artistic dimensions, sharing her unique vision of the world through her creations.
