Anton

Anton was born in 1962 and came from Sofia, Bulgaria. He took an artistic course at the prestigious SS Cyril & Methodius University, specialized in Painting. In 1989, he was named member of the Bulgarian Artists’ Union.

Inspired by European modern art, particularly the French Academy, Anton forged himself a solid basis to create his own identity. On the canvas, he lets his impulsions express themselves, dictated by nature, lyricism. By the use of drawings as the picture’s foundation, Anton produces a fine and delicate artwork. An intimate and discreet world is then created, guided by the painter’s emotions that the patches of colors make prettier. Freedom emerge from his compositions, where drawing and colors mix up in a light way.
