Biography
Olivier Daumas seeks to perpetuate the figurative tradition of oil painting. He seeks to provoke wonder, through the precision of the play of light, the rendering of the material, for example the skin of his models as well as their poses. He paints portraits of the inhabitants of the world. It's about creating the most faithful rendering of the human body, animals, flowers or even the landscape. Olivier Daumas paints from his studio located in Northern Catalonia. His works have been featured in a number of international exhibitions. He sells his works in France as well as abroad.
