Biography
Painter, artist, trainer, author, and recipient of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France title, Michel Nadaï is renowned for his expertise in faux marbling, trompe-l'œil, patinas, and mural frescoes. Awarded the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 1994, he embodies the excellence of the French decorative arts tradition. With over three decades of experience, Michel Nadaï has passed on his unique craftsmanship worldwide, training numerous decorators, painters, and artists in his studio located in southern France. There, he teaches rare and highly sought-after techniques, while preserving the legacy of the great masters of interior decoration.
Thanks to his mastery of both traditional and contemporary techniques, Michel Nadaï has worked on numerous prestigious projects, ranging from historical estates to modern palaces, while creating bespoke works for private collectors. His work, at the intersection of art and craftsmanship, is a true homage to elegance and precision.
In 2011, following his restoration and creation work at Stirling Castle in Scotland, he was officially introduced to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of England, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and the First Minister of Scotland, Alex Salmond.
