Mikael Benard is a French photographer, born in Paris.It was first of all in the service of others that he began to sculpt images and light, assisting big names in photography. He thus acquired a solid technique and a taste for staging.His work reflects a deep intimacy with his subjects and his play of chiaroscuro contrasting reality.He loves design, art and architecture, which he photographs by restoring texture, veining, shine.From 2020, alongside his commissioned work where nothing is left to chance, he indulges in the contemplation of nature by experimenting with photographs of vegetation that he creates like still lifes. He seeks to capture the light, and transmit the multitude of dark, deep but nuanced greens of the forests, undergrowth, and foliage.
