Justyna Gaja

Justyna started her studies at the Art Lyceum in Poznań (Poland) when she was 14 years old.
There she has fathom all the secrets of art and she has mastered many techniques in the visual arts. In 2001 she successfully completed her study and became a visual artist. She then studied art history at the University UAM in Poznań. There she obtained a Master's degree in academic education in the direction of art history, specialising in Dutch painting.
Justyna works from all her well-known techniques, mostly in oil on panel. She finds herself in many subjects, but she prefers to paint landscapes and flowers.
Her art is a personal mix between classical and abstract paintings. She paints with palette knives in alla prima technique on a dark-coloured background. The interplay with the background creates good tonal effects, so that applied colors interact with each other.
Paintings by Justyna Gaja are full of colour, light and life. When she paints, she does so with her whole heart, brain and soul - totally from herself.
Justyna lives and works in The Netherlands.
