NEBAY, STREET GRAFER ARTIST

Tagger, graphist, NEBAY's field of action is the urban landscape and the paintings he creates in his workshop. Since 1987, he has been an active member of the JCT collective (I Run Always!).

A SPONTANEOUS PAINTING

Nebay works both in the streets but also in the workshop. His works are produced in a very impulsive way, always very colorful with explosions of colors and shapes. He uses his “Nebay" tag in flops, in blocks, his tag sometimes appears in an accumulated manner.

Close to the trend of action painting, a technique dear to Pollock from whom he borrowed the famous "dripping", flops, blocks, accumulations are all techniques used by the artist who takes up his Nebay tag. His paintings offer striking strength and mastery of color. NEBAY's work is charged with a singular and explosive energy.

OPTIMISTIC STREET ARTIST

In 2005 in Paris, he diverted the brands and slogans of advertising posters, particularly luxury ones, by taking the path of humor. Above all, a street artist, Nebay wants to make contemporary art accessible. It presents a simple and effective painting that can be understood by everyone. In its 2019 collection, Nebay invites us to discover sublimated hidden messages visible on the canvas from certain angles, using quotes from illustrious humanist personalities.

THE ARTIST'S EXHIBITIONS

Through his great travels, Nebay leaves his mark in different countries such as Russia, Mongolia and China. Both dense and luminous, his paintings are hymns to color.

Nebay has been a permanent artist at the Art Jingle gallery since 2007. A recognized artist of French Street Art, he in turn becomes a precursor of his generation; his works are now part of large private collections.

CONFIRMED STREET ARTIST

The artist Nebay is always invited to major Parisian street art events; he was one of the artists of Tour 13. He participated in prestigious auctions. He travels the world to leave his mark wherever he goes. He created the poster for the 20 km of Paris in 2017.

A hyperactive artist, his tag continues to spread on the walls of our cities and galleries.
