Hélène Lagnieu

My research focuses on the processes of hybridization, exposure and decortication of human and animal anatomy. Chimeras are recurrent, but also the female figure whose body becomes a field of anatomical experiments. Starting from a personal mythology, I try, through these unstructured or rearranged characters, to retrace these impressions which are at the origin of the necessity of my work.
