Born in Pozzuoli, March 9, 1906
(Died in Castellammare di Stabia, January 10, 1984) He was an Italian painter, poet, and writer. At a very young age, he joined the school of Leon Giuseppe Buono, Giovanni Brancaccio, and later the Tosian school of Vincenzo Ciardo. He was among the founders of the . In 1930 he moved to Castellammare di Stabia, where in 1936 he founded, in memory of Errico Gaeta, the and, subsequently, that of Via Coppola. He exhibited abroad in Prague, Warsaw, Krakow, Bucharest, Sofia, Brussels, Helsinki and, in Italy, at the Bergamo Prize, the Michetti Prize since its foundation, the Suzzara Prize, the Posillipo Prize, Events: Rome Quadrennial (1937, 1951) Venice Biennale 1950 just to name the major ones. His works are found in collections: (Pirelli-Milan, Martinez-Paris, Sormani-Milan, Villani-Milan, Civic Museum of Pescara, Banco di Napoli, Palazzo Strozzi of Florence, Civic Museum of Milan, Municipality of Castellammare di Stabia). He is also the author of poems and short stories: (1966), (1970), (1982). He died in Castellammare di Stabia on 10 January 1984, where the promenade of the Garibaldi seafront was named after him.
