Biography

Stefania Guidi (Rome 1929) was born in Rome and belongs to the Marche family of the Marquises Guidi Giovanissima. In 1958 he presented his first personal exhibition of sculptures and drawings, at the Giosi gallery in Via del Babbuino in Rome. She married the musician and composer Michele Paradiso on 1 July 1978 in Campidoglio. Estimated for its rare talent it participates, invited, in the most important national and international exhibitions.From 1956 to 2014 the work of Stefania Guidi is expressed in various techniques and materials with great craftsmanship.

She made 192 etchings on copper and zinc; 40 lithographs on stone and zinc; 154 bas-reliefs in alabaster and bronze plaster; 102 drawings and tempera; 235 small bronzes; 40 large plaster casts; 14 woods including the Pietà in elm opera 342 cm 330; 12 stones among which the great Pietà operates 450 in 5 ton peperino; 110 terracotta; 64 large bronzes including the Galileo opera 515 on the Lungarno Mediceo in Pisa.
