Pavel Dolejs is a Czech artist born in 1985 and based in Prague. He is a former student of academic artist Tomas Kubik. Pavel is a painter whose work emerges as an escape from societal dogmas. Through his canvases, he personifies and materializes these rigid constructs, placing them in paradoxical relationships to expose their absurdity. His paintings often address timeless, existential themes that he renders metaphorically through mechanical imagery, surreal combinations of objects, and striking urban street views.

Dolejs approaches his art with a sense of naïve courage, fearlessly embarking on complex and ambitious projects without being constrained by formal rules. For him, perfect form is secondary to profound content.
