Presentation

Gabriel Monte is a Czech modern painter and sculptor, a representative of a distinctive form of postmodernism. Gabriel was born in 1985 in Prague, in a Mexican/Czech family, and the connections of his father to Mexico and his stories made Gabriel decide to study at two art academies, in Mexico, and in the Czech Republic. Gabriel Monte successfully graduated from both of the academies.

Gabriel Monte is known for his love for various art experiments, so he is not afraid to break some classical art rules and to combine different media, themes, and styles in his artworks. In the Czech Republic, he is known as the expressionist artist, who can not imagine his life without a brush and empty canvas. Gabriel Monte's paintings and sculptures were exhibited primarily in Japan, Mexico, South America, and across Europe. Gabriel Monte's art could be divided into many various collections which vary in the color palette, themes, and mood.

His beloved art themes are landscapes, musical inspired motives, and cityscapes, although Gabriel Monte often creates experimental paintings - and these artworks stand apart from his main creative way. Large-format paintings, rich colors inspired by nature, uncompromising freedom to portray the surrounding world - all have become a signature of Gabriel Monte, whose artworks could be found in a couple of private modern art museums in France, the Czech Republic, and Japan. Many of his paintings won awards at the seasonal exhibitions the Katie Feygie Art Gallery is organizing yearly. Katie Feygie Art Gallery represents Gabriel Monte since 2000.
