Preserving and maintaining the value of prints

The various types of prints can be printed on paper, wood, or metal, and their preservation depends on the medium used:

Works on paper are very fragile: direct sunlight, heat, and moisture should be monitored.

Works on wood are relatively resistant: ideally, they should be kept at humidity levels of 55% if the temperature is around 20°C.

Works on metal are also resistant: nevertheless, they should be kept at humidity levels of 30% at the most in order to prevent rusting.
