Exhibition labeled Cultural Olympiad. This project was born in 2020-2021 out of curiosity: what would several artists do using the same medium? The rules of the game (because there were already ones) were simple: each artist uses the same wooden box, without restriction of techniques. Thirty boxes were created and exhibited between confinement and curfew in 2021. In 2024, we added a second rule of the game: talking about the Games, a popular subject in France, in Paris, in 2024. What do the Olympic Games organized in What does Paris represent this summer for these artists, what part of the games did they want to put in a box? These games are seen by the artists under numerous prisms: History, universality, peace, diplomacy, sport, movement, athletes, sports architecture, competition... All of the boxes form a contemporary cabinet of artistic and sporting curiosities, a theater of thirty productions of their own vision of the largest sports festival in the world. Get your boxes...
