Biography
"I was born in Babylon, Iraq. I graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Baghdad, Iraq in 1997. After graduation, I moved to Jordan to pursue a painting career.
Between 1997 and 2000 I worked simultaneously with two Jordanian galleries in Ammam -- Dar Alanda and Orphely -- presenting oil painting work such as portraits, still life, landscapes and figures. My paintings gained popularity and became extremely respected amongst Jordanian Royalty. I had a great opportunity to paint portraits of the royal family members.
In 2000, I moved to the United States. My first exhibit called "Iraqi Artist" was held at the Sevan Gallery in November 2009. In same year, I became a member of the Palette and Chisel Art Academy in Chicago." - From the Artist
