

Biography
Christina Schwermer is a German painter born in 1964 who lives and works in Stuttgart, Germany. She is a self-taught artist and started painting in 1996. Since 2000, she has been painting mainly angels and mythical beings from various cultures. Since 2002, she has organized over 15 solo and group shows in Germany, France, Belize and New York including an exhibition at St. Michel d'Aiguilhe, Le-Puy-en-Velay, France in a chapel built in 962 AD and also at Dock Street Gallery, San Pedro, Belize. In 2017 she had her own booth at Artexpo SOLO New York showing a selection of paintings of the series of "The Seven Deadly Sins". Works from the series "One-Winged Angels" have been shown at Spectrum Miami in 2021 and Art San Diego in 2022. As a self-taught artist she works mainly while travellling foreign countries, mostly Central America. The colours she chooses are influenced by the environment. Works on internet that she is presenting are mainly works from the series of the Seven Deadly Sins, painted in Guatemala and Belize and the series of the One-Winged Angels, painted in Morocco and Mexico.
