Ariane Fruit

Ariane FRUIT was born in Rouen in 1975. She lives and works in Paris.
After a regular practice of drawing, she follows a training in photography at the École des Gobelins (Paris). She practices the engraving (linocut and etching) for ten years and more recently lithography and photogravure.
In her works, the photography dialogue with the temporality of the engraver's gestures,
as a subject, a language and a memory object.
