Clément Poitrenaud

Clement Poitrenaud is a French international rugby player, he was born in 1982 in Castres, he is famous with the general public due to his forty-seven selections in the French team. In 2009, during his trip to Brazil with his partner Anaïs, the rugby-man discovered his passion, namely photography and has been practicing art relentlessly since then.

Clément Poitrenaud's photos depict portraits. The black background allows to magnify photos with emphasized features due to a play on shadows and light. Human being is the artist's main focus. His photos reconcile body and mind, often in opposition through common reflection on the human being.
