Biography
The Spanish artist, Alejandra Caballero did her training at the Fine arts University of Madrid and got a Rodriguez-Acosta Foundation grant in Granada in the field of painting, as well as the Lopez Villasenor grant in the same specialty.
Alejandra Caballero's paintings are intimate, figurative, poetic and introspective. Her most recurring theme is the female figure and her daily environment. (As a common habit, she models for herself). The sea and childhood are her favorite subjects. She eliminates superfluous and anecdotal aspect and focuses on reality. She uses clear and bright colors although her works are sometimes filled with melancholy and loneliness.
