The Urban Gallery is proud to host the solo Show "Ces Gens-là" by the artist L'Insecte. Reappropriating the classics of French songs from yesterday and the day before, illustrating the titles of singers who have marked him, L'insecte transports us over the canvases to the depths of the texts. Discover or rediscover these songs revisited by his imagination and stroll in search of this music which resonates as and when the details are discovered. Material and a strong consonance of "old" and recovered hover over his works, the captivating frames seem to wake up like an old record player that one would find in the attic of his childhood. With a street image and a graffiti movement, L'insecte unites the past with its present by transcending eras. Whether you are a fan of French song or not, the paintings speak. The poetry of the texts comes to marry the shape of the lines, you will not come out unscathed! You will find large and small formats there so that everyone can bring back a memory, like a piece of life, while keeping the will to reach all social classes, like popular songs.
