You are in the Roaring Twenties, or in Saint Germain des Prés, between Cocteau and Simone de Beauvoir, and, whatever the case, immersed in the pleasure of living. As a little girl, Fauve was never bored and sowed little drawings on the edge of her childhood daydreams. Her vocation was later thwarted, because in her teenage years, the 70s, it was not fashionable for a young girl to study at the Beaux Arts. She then thwarted fate and circumvented conventions by surrounding herself with artists and giving her life an air of celebration and continual freedom. She has practiced various professions, often related to good living, without ever giving up drawing or the desire to devote herself to it completely one day. Fauve freed himself from drawing and left the academic world. She starts from the abstract to arrive at the figurative and, little by little, her characters become more and more feminine. Everything then follows: she was selected at the Salon Violet in Paris, won a prize at the Salon d'hiver in Lyon and was part of the Salon des Artistes Français. She practiced watercolor and oil painting for a long time before devoting herself to acrylic, which offered her a formidable range of pigments. His paintings are born from the laying of colors preliminary to the layout of the lines or shapes represented. She has lived for 20 years from her art and it is through expressionism that she has found and confirmed her style of painting, which she describes herself as imaginary, dreamlike and spontaneous. The colors, the pigments, the skin tones, that's what catches us in his orange, vermilion, purple and fiery scenes. She paints weddings, parties and revelers, moments of hedonistic reading, tamed beasts, drunken villages and houses talking to each other, with the same intensity of colors. His chromatic research is audacious, lively and in life, voluptuous and almost carnivorous, like these felines so present, capable of an incredible gentleness, a disturbing calm and then a flamboyant cruelty.
