I primarily explore femininity in my works, especially its complexities delving into themes of appearance, self-reflection, and loneliness that speak on social issues faced by women in modern African societies.

My latest body of work draws from personal experiences with encountering social bias, pressures, and expectations of what and how a woman should be while admiring and finding strength in women that are overcoming these issues. Through my works, I set to connect audiences to the different facets there are, ranging from strengths to weaknesses, beautiful to unpleasantness, of femininity.

My interest in exploring symbolism and surrealism informed my use of biological gender symbols in replacement of the human head and also to place more emphasis on body language rather than physiognomy in conveying emotions.
