It is with great pleasure that we extend this special invitation to attend the private opening of Maurice Renoma's POP! exhibition, on Wednesday, October 1st, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Kelly Arty Gallery in Fontainebleau.
For this occasion, the gallery will be transformed into a temporary Factory, a tribute to Andy Warhol, to welcome Maurice Renoma himself—a visionary designer, couturier to the stars, and an unclassifiable artist.
In the fashion world since the 1960s, Renoma has dressed celebrities such as Andy Warhol, Dali, Picasso, John Lennon, Elton John, Saint Laurent, Dior, and Alain Delon, while revolutionizing sartorial aesthetics. Awarded the title of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 1997, this versatile designer—fashion, photography, painting, and installations—refuses to be labeled and embraces experimentation.
✨ At Kelly Arty, the artist offers a dialogue between art and fashion, a critique of consumer society, and an exploration of universal icons (bananas, goldfish, etc.). The exhibition notably features large canvases combining painting, photography, and raw materials, the result of a unique collaboration with the young Chinese painter Yuan Chen.
Considered a visual and cultural agitator for over sixty years, a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of Arts and Letters), Maurice Renoma presents POP!, a rich and accessible exhibition where the pop spirit meets contemporary audacity.
This intimate event will bring together enthusiasts, collectors, and art lovers for a rare moment, where Fontainebleau will resonate with Renoma's creative energy.
