Swiss-Zim Heritage.Gallery and Artgal.Online proudly present Roots and Horizons – A Zimbabwean Story, an exhibition opening on 12 September 2025 at 5 pm at 84ART Gallery, Mt Pleasent, Harare. Curated by Keith Zenda and Tonderai Mujuru, the show brings together 10 leading Zimbabwean artists, each offering a unique perspective on heritage, identity, and contemporary life. From Zenda’s symbolic explorations of totems and ancestral connections, to Mujuru’s evocative wildlife portraits in charcoal and pastel, and Florah Maphosa’s vibrant Afro-Pop celebrations of womanhood, the exhibition highlights the diversity and power of Zimbabwean creativity. The works bridge tradition and innovation, inviting audiences to reflect on culture, resilience, and the future of African art. Supported by Swiss-Zim Heritage, the exhibition will also be viewable online via Artgal.Online, ensuring global accessibility to this landmark celebration of Zimbabwe’s artistic voice.
