Thundorf, Switzerland / Harare, Zimbabwe – As the year draws to a close, Artgal.Online and Swiss-Zim Heritage proudly present the Roots & Horizons – Christmas Edition. This seasonal exhibition brings together artists whose works capture heritage, identity and spiritual renewal. Through both online viewing rooms and the Art84 Gallery in Harare, visitors will experience how Zimbabwean and African contemporary art continue to connect cultures and inspire hope across continents.
Curated by Swiss-Zim Heritage, the exhibition features established names alongside emerging voices. Their works trace the journey from ancestral roots to new horizons – a dialogue between memory and modern expression. Each piece is imbued with gratitude, resilience and the human capacity to create beauty from struggle and dreams from heritage.
The Vernissage on 12 December 2025 will be an intimate evening for invited guests at Art84 Gallery, featuring artist conversations, music and seasonal hospitality. The event celebrates the shared creative energy of Zimbabwe’s art community and its dialogue with international collectors and curators.

Looking ahead to 2026, Artgal.Online will open the Artgal Zim Center in Harare – a permanent home for Zimbabwean art and cultural exchange. This new space will extend our mission to empower artists, educate youth and build bridges between African heritage and global audiences. It marks the continuation of our shared journey toward sustainable creative growth and international recognition for African voices.
