Curated by Elisangela Valadares, the exhibition highlights new artists and their work throughout 2021, highlighting them as new artists represented by the gallery, including José Sottomayor, Francisco Trepa, Miguel Judice, and Mattia Papp. The exhibition will be open to visitors on December 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th, from 4 pm to 9 pm.
The exhibition will feature artists represented by the gallery, which will occupy the four-story palace at Rua do Castilho 3, which houses NOT A MUSEUM for three months. This is an art laboratory where artists, visitors, and professionals are encouraged to merge their experiences in a fluid and non-conformist environment supported by a privileged network that recognizes the important role of art in diplomacy and society.
The founders of Casa70 Lisboa and Not a Museum aim to promote the work of artists by hosting various gatherings about their productions, whether through exhibitions, talks, or workshops. Casa70's program includes a range of activities over the three months, bringing artists and collectors together and opening up discussions for viewers interested in art and culture.
Also participating in this exhibition are Caio Marcoline, Mai-Britt Wolthers, Lyz Parayzo, Giovanna Nucci, Irit Batsry, Juliana Sícolli, Jan Wold Skevik, Manauara Clandestina, Mattia Papp, Salomé Nascimento, and Xevi Sola. After the holiday season, the gallery will reopen in January with a new exhibition to be announced in early 2022.
