This exhibition explores the mystery of the Incarnation, the passage from Word to matter, from the Word to flesh. It is part of an artistic and spiritual quest nourished by the Gospel according to Saint John.
Each diptych is read from right to left, echoing Christ's original language, Aramaic. They each embody a specific verse, not in an illustrative way, but as a sensitive and contemporary encounter with the sacred word. The writing, initially inscribed, gradually transforms, leaving the realm of the sign to enter that of matter, color, and light.
