Biography

Roma Vaquero Díaz (born in Pergamino, Argentina, 1982) is a visual artist based in Buenos Aires. Her background combines visual, performing, and somatic arts. She holds a Master's degree in Combined Artistic Languages (UNA) and a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts (UNR). Her multidisciplinary practice integrates performance, movement, writing, photography, and video.

She has participated in numerous artist residencies in Argentina, Spain, and the United States. Her work has been exhibited at institutions such as the Emilio Pettoruti Museum of Fine Arts, the Kirchner Cultural Center, Galería Acéfala, Cherry Street Pier (Philadelphia), Cameron Art Museum (USA), and art spaces in Barcelona, Madrid, Montevideo, and Caracas, among others.

Her work was featured in (Ugly Duckling Presse, NY, 2023), and she is the author of the book (Editorial Flanbé, 2020).

Since 2017, she has directed the platform and archive . She lives and works in Buenos Aires.
