Martín X

Martín X was born in 1974 in Buenos Aires (Argentina). He began to paint from his childhood. Already at this time, he shows his remarkable ability to capture and render the figurative and to use colors with a striking realism full of harmony and respect for the limits of the line. Today, having developed his own artistic identity, Martín X manages to integrate a figuration of drawing of strict proportions with a relaxed pictorial style, full of striking colors and high contrasts. His work shows a particular interest for a lively gestural expression that seeks to intrigue and provoke the viewer.
