Biography

After twenty-five years of creation in an art foundry dotted with exhibitions of paintings and installations, Jocelyne Duchesne turned to clay. Anxious to reduce her carbon footprint, she chose this noble and natural material which instinctively brought her back to the spontaneous inscriptions of her series of paintings, "Illiterate Poetry", exhibited in Dakar, Senegal in 1998.
