Caroline Dion alias Car-di was born in 1963 in Dolbeau in Lac St-Jean, to a family of artists, she currently lives in Victoriaville in the Bois-Francs area (Canada).
Art has always been an important part of her life. Designer and fashion designer for children during several years, she painted on the clothes she designed, giving them a unique style. It was in 1995 that she decided to devote herself to painting on canvas. She finished her Bachelor in plastic arts at UQTR in 2003.
A multidisciplinary artist, she uses acrylic paint to capture softness and serenity in her paintings. Printmaking and glassblowing are also part of her favorite techniques. Always exploring new techniques Caroline Dion's work on the character in a way to bring out the desired emotions.
She has exposed in several galleries and done solo and group exhibitions in several museums. She is part of associations such as the Coalition of Visual Art Artists (rAAV) and the Society of Canadian Artists (SAC).
