Li Deyang

He is a visual artist from Young, Shandong, CN.
He graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence in 2020 and is the founder of Young Art Studio.

He lives and works between Italy and China, engaging in a constant dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures.

His artistic practice is defined by an unrelenting experimental spirit. Starting from a solid background in classical techniques and restoration, Li has developed his language by integrating Taoist philosophy—centered on the concept of an ethereal and invisible existence—with the techniques of traditional Chinese ink painting. Through the use of Western pictorial media, the artist has developed a unique “landscape style,” where brushstroke and color become tools to explore deep messages and subjective emotional responses.

His work goes beyond simple representation, using symbols and metaphors to reflect on universal themes and social issues. This approach aligns perfectly with reflections on the Anthropocene and the relationship between humans and nature, central themes in his recent visual explorations.
