Biography
During his long walks, Teddy Peix photographs and films places where nature is omnipresent in order to transpose his experience of the journey. Behind an apparent serenity, his images reveal changing, partially visible spaces where man seems to have little control.
Influenced by walking poets, Bashō, Rousseau, Thoreau, Shitao, and artists and photographers such as Hamish Fulton, Koichiro Kurita or Ansel Adams, his timeless and contemplative landscapes trace a solitary walk in which clouds or shadows, ephemeral elements, reveal natural or artificial forms.
Teddy Peix, multidisciplinary visual artist and art researcher. Since 2002, participates in several artistic events in France and abroad (Argentina, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, USA, ...).
