Biography
Born in 1959 in Dole, Véronique Vadon showed her talent for drawing and painting since an early age. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Besançon in 1979, and completed her training by taking different courses delivered by painters in France and abroad. She then moved to Antibes, a land full of lights.
The sun inundates her canvases, and the bright colors of the south make them joyful. Her use of mainly ocher, yellows and blues shades, merge in a bouquet of colors. Her bouquets of flowers and landscapes presage the perfumes involving the scene which propagate as a haunting and intoxicating aesthetic aura.
"Without loosing perception of reality, the descriptive elements vanish to let purified shapes in, in a variation of colors and light. Véronique Vadon took a long time to study drawing and learn how to take care of detail, which reflects in her first works.
