Gillian Brin

Gillian Brin, born in 1995 in Cholet, is a self-taught painter. Developing an early interest in art with music and drawing, he has always been immersed in his own creative world. However, it was not until the age of 24 that he began to explore the world of painting. According to him, art is an expression of infinite freedom, without limits or rules.

Gillian has developed a distinctive style using a palette knife technique with acrylic paint. This allows him to create vibrant textures and striking contrasts, adding an extra dimension to his works. Specialising in portraits, he focuses mainly on female faces, but also depictions of animals. Through his paintings, he seeks to capture the beauty and complexity of human expressions, particularly through the gaze, as well as the richness of animal characteristics.

Over the years, Gillian continues to develop her art and refine her technique, while remaining true to her unique creative essence.

Painting for him is a means of escape, expression and sharing.
