Alexandra BREZNAY pursues a poetic vision of documentary photography, focusing on the environment of large cities and the solitude they engender.

Biography

Alexandra Breznay was born in 1985, she is a French photographer. She studied at Sciences-Po and turned away from this path by joining The International Center of photography in New York. Following this, she lived and worked in the city for several years, before moving back to France. Today, she lives in Paris and teachers photography to American students.

Alexandra Breznay captures moments of life and mundane expressions, with a dehumanized urban background. Her look is full of poetry, her creations highlight peace. The artist invites us to meet fate but through a societal reflection on the complexity of progress and urban life.

Alexandra Breznay's photos are exhibited in New York and Paris. Her work also appeared in international press, such as Têtu, French Morning, France USA media, Unmapped, Der Blatt and Hudson Heights Guide.
