Biography
Originally from France, Les Frères Guinet are two contemporary visual artists who create all of their bronze sculptures in their own foundry. Drawing on a variety of materials, their artistic approach is rooted in a powerful principle: the idea that nature always reclaims its rights.
By integrating mineral elements – rocks, roots, raw textures – into their creations, they transform human objects into timeless artifacts, as if frozen in stone.
Each work is a meditation on time, memory and the ephemeral, where the material tells the story of what man has wanted to build... and what nature has never ceased to erase.
This is perhaps the essence of the Guinet Brothers' work: sculptures that question our relationship with time...
