Noémie Pons

Canadian artist Noémie Pons, based in the south of France, develops an abstract practice using ink and tea on canvas. Her approach, both gestural and minimalist, explores the relationship to oneself, to others, and to the world by creating a dialogue between the intimacy of the creative process and the organic transformation of materials. 

In her recent series Frequencies, she translates invisible waves into rhythmic compositions, where delicate palettes convey vitality, peace, and harmony. At the crossroads of the concrete and the intangible, her paintings invite a sensory and meditative experience.

A graduate with honors in psychology and visual arts from Concordia University (Montreal), Noémie Pons also creates custom artworks, incorporating the personal stories of individuals, families, and organizations. She also leads creative retreats, affirming the therapeutic power of art as a means of connecting the material and the spiritual.
