Elisabeth Serre

After studying dance and the Ecole de la rue Blanche in Paris, Elisabeth followed an atypical path which led her to work at the Théâtre National de Marseille “La Criée" where for ten years she was at the heart of creations with the artistic teams. , costume designers and decorators.

She went through fashion with the designer Agnès b and created her decoration brand Lily Blanche as a hymn to delicacy.

After two years at the School of Fine Arts in Marseille, Elisabeth returned to dance through Qi Gong, which she taught in a technique that brought them together.

His painting is an extension of his work on the body, a spiritual quest for grace.

Today she presents the Céramica series, the culmination of research into painting, sculpture, materials and the power of colors on our emotions.

Organic forms, the epicenters where life takes shape, the sources are also at the heart of this work.

The work on the material, the result of which gives us the appearance of glazed earth which has been enameled with a translucent glaze and fired at 1000°C, is an ancestral know-how that my paintings attempt to express through painting. Trying to bring this magnificent material to life, infusing it with my energy, going to the sources to sublimate it, drawing inspiration from its vibrant colors to soothe our soul.
