Marcel Speet

Marcel Speet (Netherlands, 1951) creates paintings, paper works, and textile sculptures. His work explores the tension between organic and artificial forms. His works offer a preverbal experience, prior to conceptual formulation. Each work develops into a coherent configuration whose internal relations continue to reveal themselves over the course of observation. He uses color, form, and structure through superposition, friction, and transformation.

Marcel Speet lives and works in France, near Bordeaux.
