Based in Tahiti (French Polynesia) Jérôme Brouillet is a référence for surf photography.

Biography

Born in Marseille in 1985, Jérôme grew up spending all his vacations on the family sailboat, the Chrysaora. That’s where it all began.

His love for the ocean, animals, and nature was born on the deck of that boat. He spent his time observing the sea, feeling what he could not see. This practice of observation naturally led him to sharing—it was a logical progression. He entered the world of imagery by filming his travels and sporting activities with friends, and then got a taste for photography while assisting a friend at mountain biking events—cross-country and downhill. He enjoyed capturing and freezing action in time… and he changed course.

An avid traveler, he went to Tahiti on vacation in 2014. The majestic nature, a playground painted in blue, the sport, and surfing—everything he was passionate about was there.
