Tristan Rà is a French painter born in 1945, recognized for a work deeply inspired by travel, light, landscapes, still lifes, and Mediterranean civilizations. Since the beginning of his artistic career, he develops a figurative painting where color is the main vector of emotion. Exhibiting in France and internationally since 1974, he builds a pictorial universe nourished by his numerous travels around the Mediterranean, Morocco, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Martinique, and many other countries. Each of his works translates a meeting between the artist's gaze and the memory of places, making travel a true source of creation.

Tristan Rà primarily works with oil on canvas, developing a language where color, light, and pictorial matter occupy an essential place.
